Hotel Hoheneck adapts to the new situation. You will find a lot of new arrangements that we believe will satisfy a great part of the skiing community who needs an affordable and practical stay in the ski paradise Engelberg.

New for this season is that we offer self-service rooms with self-catering in a kitchen located in a cosy “living room” for the hotel guests. All bookings are made at AirBnB or Booking.com. (Individual rooms allocated to the two reservation channels). Before making your reservation we recommend you to go to the room planner if you need more than one room and also to get an overview of the rooms.

For those of you who is not familiar with the history of Hotel Hoheneck and Engelberg, let us present;

Hotel Hoheneck in Engelberg is a ski hotel with a unique charm. The hotel's rich history and unique, rustic and cozy architecture makes it into one of the many landmarks in Engelberg.

200 years ago the house of Hoheneck accommodated pilgrims on their spiritual journeys to the Engelberg monastery. Today we are a friendly, fun, cosy hotel in Engelberg central for skiers, mountaineers and music lovers - both visitors and locals. The bar is presently closed but we plan to find someone who like to run it for the season.
Our rooms offer small balconies with a fantastic view of the Titlis mountain range, which is reminiscent of the time when the hotel was home to pilgrims from all over the world 200 years ago. As a lover of history, you will find many details in and around the hotel that tells a tale about the rich history of both the town of Engelberg, and Hotel Hoheneck itself.
